Taste of initial survey results - and an important survey ask
Hello there,
A wee update: more than 600 people have taken the latest Yes We Didnae survey. I thought I'd share a taste of the interim results as a "thank you" to those who have taken it already - and as an appetiser for those of you who haven't yet. (And if you haven't shared your views yet, you can find the latest Yes We Didnae survey here: https://tally.so/r/mR2p2Q)
The first figure that jumped out of me was the response to the question: “Which statement best describes your view of Scotland's constitutional future?”. A stunning 92% of you opted for "Scotland should be an independent republic". Wow! And somehow that issue never seems to get much traction in our politics. Yet…
I also asked "What one word sums up the kind of country you would like to live in?". Just take a look at the wordcloud showing which answers were most popular:

Do you agree? Disagree? If you've not already taken the survey, share your views now here: https://tally.so/r/mR2p2Q.
A big favour
In a few days, I'm part of a panel at a major conference, talking about the messaging we use when discussing climate change. (And how well that works…) Sure, I've got things I'd like to say but it'd be really great if I could share the results of a survey taken by thousands of people about some of the related issues. Could I please ask you to take another short survey, this one not on Scotland specifically, but on issues to do with climate? You can find it here: https://tally.so/r/waPqEv
I'll be sharing the results with some big thinkers at this conference so your voice will really be heard!
Thank you very much and I’ll be in touch with more Yes We Didnae results soon.
A’ the best,
Stewart
