Caroline Lucas ticket discount and four words survey

First, Caroline Lucas, the UK’s first Green MP, is coming to Scotland in March to discuss the fragmenting UK. In her latest book Another England, Caroline Lucas looks at what the slow break-up of the UK means for England, and for Englishness. Horrified by the way that England’s national story has been captured by the far right, she digs through history and literature to find another story about England - a progressive England, trapped in Britain’s delusions of imperial grandeur.

Second, a project called Scotland's Four Words of Hope is carrying out a survey to see what people think about how the words integrity, compassion, justice and wisdom (which are inscribed on the Scottish Parliament's ceremonial mace) mean in Scottish political life.
